| Descripción: | Picture taken on the 10th March 2007, near Corredor Sanctuary, Llinars del Vallés, Barcelona, 300 m. altitude, on Quercus suber branches. Lichen common in the mediterranean area and atlantic coast in forests of Quercus suber avoiding cold weather zones. In Catalonia it has been found in the littoral range of mountains, normally on Quercus suber and at Prades and Fogars de Montclús. Corticolous lichen, fruticose, with certain parts red coloured, not all thallus has pigmented cortex, many parts remain green. Isidial soralia. a lot of fibrils and papillae, no apothecia. Med.
