Picture taken on the 26th May 2007 near Km 14 Masella road, Masella, Girona, Oriental Pyrenees, calcareous substratum, rich soil, flat surface (meadow), close a pine forest border, 1.500 m. altitude, windy place.
A common lichen with holarctic distribution, photophylous. Common all around Pyrenees.
Terricolous, fruticose, podecia 1,5-8 cm high, from yellow to green, dichotomic branching, marmorean surface, forming large cushions.
Thallus P-, K-,KC + yellow.
UV + White
